Steep and narrow Clear Creek offers some of Colorado's most exciting whitewater river rafting trips. Only 25 miles west of Denver in Idaho Springs, Clear Creek is a short and scenic drive up I-70 from wherever you're staying, or an easy stop on your way up to Colorado's spectacular high country.
Located in a historic mining valley, beautiful Colorado scenery complements your exciting Clear Creek river rafting adventure. While rafting down the river, you may see some of our native wildlife, including muskrats, beavers, deer, bighorn sheep, or even the occasional bear or mountain lion! We offer a wide variety of Clear Creek Rafting trips anything from a beginner trip (class II), to a intermediate (class III and IV) and for the adventurous one our expert trip (class V).
Trip Times
Check-in times for our Beginner and Intermediate Clear Creek river rafting trips are at 9:00 AM 12:00 noon, and 3:00 PM. Departures are 30 minutes after check-in time. Reservations for all Clear Creek river rafting trips are suggested.
Clear Creek Beginner
A great mountain trip for the whole family. This 1/3 day ride is filled with non-stop action-packed Class III whitewater as you raft through the historic Idaho Springs mining district. Minimum age and weight requirements are based on river conditions.

Clear Creek Intermediate
This is Clear Creek's most popular stretch of river, and one of the best river rafting trips we offer! Brace yourself for a 1/2 day of continuous Class III and Class IV action. Our Clear Creek Intermediate river rafting trips are our top choice for thrill-seekers and adventurous first-time rafters alike.
Minimum age and weight requirements are based on river conditions.
