Group Trip Planning

Raft Masters makes group planning easy!

We know that group trip planning of any number of people can be overwhelming but here at Raft Masters we try to make the process easy and fun. We help you choose from our wide selection of trips and multi-sport adventure packages to meet the needs of every member of your group. Call one of our friendly office staff to get your group’s trip started.

Group Rates: Group rates apply to groups of 10 or more people. With groups of 20 or more we are happy to have the group organizer go for FREE! In order to qualify for the group discount we need you to assist us by representing your entire group as a whole, and collecting all payments, rather than us dealing individually with the members of your group.

Planning the trip

When planning your trip you should consider the needs of your group. You should choose a trip based on the level of difficulty, the ages of the participants (particularly children) and their physical condition, length of trip, and type of raft (paddle, paddle-assist) you prefer. If your group has a wide range of interests it is possible to divide into smaller groups and run two or more trips at the same time to accommodate your needs. Once you have decided this we will prepare a quote for you detailing the specifics of your trip. Of course, you can call us at any time and have one of our friendly group coordinators guide you through this process.

Raft Masters can arrange for transportation for large groups from the front range to either one of our locations, Canon City or Idaho Springs. Please inquire for details as scheduling is limited.

Additional Considerations

It is not necessary to know how to swim in order to go rafting , nor is previous experience required to raft the Royal Gorge. The number of guests per raft will vary with water levels, but is usually between 5 and 8. A buffet lunch is provided on all full day trips. You can include lunch on any half day Arkansas River trip for an additional $7.00 per person. Finally, the use of alcohol or illegal drugs before a trip is not only unwise and forbidden but illegal. Anyone under the influence will be removed from the trip without refund.

Acknowledgement of Risk and Release of Liability Form. EVERY member of your group needs to complete a form. A parent or guardian’s signature is required for children under 18 years of age. These forms should be filled out prior to arrival and collected by the group leader. Download Form Here
